What is an MT564?
MT564 notifies an account servicer or holder about a corporate action event. Depending on its function, it can announce, replace, cancel or provide preliminary information about an event.
Information to review
Confirm the corporate action and message references, event type, security identifier, mandatory or voluntary indicator, key dates, account balances, event options, rates, prices and narrative. Repeated option sequences must remain associated with the correct event.
Function changes the ISO 20022 target. A new notification commonly maps toward seev.031, while cancellation or preliminary movement functions can require another seev message.
