How to convert statement files to Excel or CSV

    1. Upload up to 10 UTF-8 statement files in CAMT.053 XML, MT940 or MT950 format.
    2. Choose an Excel workbook or flat transaction-level CSV.
    3. Download the combined export and review totals against your bank statements.

    Which formats are supported?

    InputWhat FinMessage extracts
CAMT.053 XMLAccount statements, entries, transaction references, remittance text and available transaction details
MT940Account identifier, opening and closing balances, field 61 transaction rows and field 86 descriptions
MT950Account statement references, balances and account transaction lines

What's included in the exported file?

Each transaction row has the source filename, message type, statement ID, account, entry number, booking and value dates, debit or credit direction, currency, amount, signed amount, references and narrative when present. Excel also has a Statements tab with opening and closing balances and transaction counts. CSV contains transaction rows only.

    Can I upload multiple files?

Yes. Each batch accepts up to 10 files, with a maximum of 2 MB per file and 10 MB total. A successful batch counts as one FinMessage action; three free message actions are available each day. Files are not saved to message history, although the server may temporarily buffer files during processing.

Designed for analysis, not automatic bookkeeping. The output is a generic transaction table, not a guaranteed import format for QuickBooks, Xero, DATEV or a specific bank. Review dates, signed amounts, balances and references before reconciliation or accounting use.
